I have a PhD and MPhil in Pharmacology. My research focuses on pharmacology and neuroscience, exploring how natural products and drugs influence brain function, cognition, inflammation, mood and other diseases. I have authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and actively review manuscripts for international scientific journals.
Key Research Areas
- Neuropharmacology: Exploring how products affect brain function, mood, and cognition, as well as neurological conditions such as depression, anxiety, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinsonism.
- Traditional Medicine & Natural Products: Investigating the pharmacological effects of plant-based compounds and their potential in managing conditions such as diabetes, depression, and inflammation, with additional focus on hematological, coagulation, and systemic effects.
- Experimental Pharmacology: Using animal models to study drug mechanisms, efficacy, and safety to generate translational insights.
- Metabolic & Cardiovascular Health: Exploring therapeutic strategies, including herbal formulations, for diabetes, lipid disorders, liver protection, and cardiovascular health.
